The Patagonia Austral is a wild and isolated territory that has been a fantasy for more than one adventurer. From the marine plant life of the Valdés Peninsula, it’s exotic combination of cultures, and the whale sightings throughout a large part of the year, passing by the Perito Moreno Glacier in Los Glaciers National Park, finishing in Ushuaia, the last city in the wild Tierra del Fuego, assailed by wind and rain, the Patagonia has always been a symbol of virgin nature and desolation, offering the tourist unique riches. A deserted land, cold, and sterile, inhabited only by those who have accepted the challenge of solitude and the company only of the most pure and beautiful nature.

Day 2. Puerto Madryn

You don't want to miss the opportunity to take an optional tour by boat to see the whales that come to this area (between June and November). Return to Punta Delgada for a visit to the sea lion colony and Caleta Valdés where the sea elephants seem to have found their ideal natural habitat. Return to Puerto Madryn.
Day 3. Puerto Madryn – Ushuaia
Continental breakfast. Transfer to the Trelew Airport to catch the flight to Ushuaia. Reception at the Ushuaia Airport and transfer to the selected hotel. In the afternoon we'll tour the city, including all the points of interest such as the Museum "The End of the World". Accommodations in Ushuaia.
Day 4. Ushuaia
Continental breakfast. Leave for the Tierra del Fuego National Park, located only 12kms from the city. In this National Park, we can find typical species of the Patagonian forest in an area of 63,000 hectares. Before going into the National Park, you need to take the Train to the End of the World for an unforgettable trip through the zone, taking a look at the Beagle Channel. Here the old inhabitants of the area left a testimony of their existence in "concheros", incredibly rich archeological storehouses. As an option, you can take an excursion through the Beagle Channel in a catamaran crossing Lapatia and the Bahía Ensenada.
Day 5. Ushuaia – El Calafate
Continental breakfast and transfer to the Ushuaia Airport to catch a flight to El Calafate. Transfer to the hotel and accommodations (*)
Day 6. El Calafate
Continental breakfast. Land excursion to the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the planet's most active continental glaciers and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO because of its astounding beauty and unusual behavior. Return to Calafate and the hotel.
Day 7. El Calafate
Continental breakfast. Free day for an optional tour. We recommend doing a complete day excursion to the Upsala Glacier and the Bahía de Onelli, full of icebergs that have broken off from the glacier. Upsala is the largest glacier in the Southern Hemisphere. Its walls reach a height of between 60 and 80 meters and has a surface of 595 kms square. Return to the hotel in Calafate.
Day 8. El Calafate
Continental breakfast. Transfer to El Calafate Airport (*)

Valdes Peninsula
This is one of the most important natural reserves in Argentina. There live the southern whales, the sea elephants, and the sea lions, thousands of aquatic birds make their nests, such as Pelicans, Cormorants, and Oyster Catchers. A person with good sight can see Guanacos, Ñandúes, and Marás. Along the coast of the Valdés Peninsula, we can find a colony of around 40,000 sea elephants that are the only type that can be seen from land, apart from those in Antarctica.
Puerto Piramide
This place is located almost 100 kms from Puerto Madryn, and was an important whaling and seal skin business center. In the 19th century there were more than 700 whalers operating in this water. Since the signed international treaty of protections, the whale population has recuperated a little to about 2000 that continue to live and reproduce near the coasts more or less in July, staying there until the middle of December.
Tierra del Fuego National Park
The Tierra del Fuego National Park is located 20 minutes from the city of Ushuaia. The mountains are steeper and closer to the coast than in Ushuaia and other points more to the East. Near the Park entrance the highway descends to the channel in Ensenada, where there are native trees and the characteristic knolls of the Yámanas. Here we find the Train to the End of the World, a small narrow gauge train that leaves near Ushuaia and arrives near the Park.
The Glaciers National Park
The beautiful nature offers uncommon panoramic views. This place was declared a Natural World Heritage by UNESCO and now conserves species danger of extinction such as the Huemul or the Huillín. Inside the Park, we find the Viedma and Argentino Lakes. The later has a surface of more than 1000 square kms and extends its branches to where various glaciers end, among the most highlighted are the Upsala and the Moreno. Another world important Glacier is the Perito Moreno Glacier, which penetrates the lake with a mass of ice of about 60 meters in height, with large chunks breaking off and crashing into the Témpanos Channel.
